Covid-19 vaccination
Over 65s and people in ‘at risk’ groups are now invited for their vaccine. Over 65s can book an appointment directly at a larger vaccination centre or local pharmacy through the national booking system, or by calling 119 free of charge, anytime
between 7am and 11pm seven days a week.

GP led vaccination centres will initially focus on people in the clinically ‘at risk’ group such as those with long term conditions to support continuity of care.


Taking up the vaccine
The Covid-19 vaccine is safe and saves lives.
So far, millions of people have been given a COVID-19 vaccine
Getting vaccinated provides protection from the virus which can be very serious and potentially life threatening.

The NHS would encourage you to take the vaccine when it is offered to you, and if you have any questions or concerns please, just ask.

How to find your NHS Number:

Your NHS number is a 10 digit number, like 485 777 3456. It is on any letter you receive from the NHS. If you dont remember your NHS Number please go to

As you will be aware, the COVID-19 rates of infection have increased to significant levels in our area.
At the same time we need to maximise our work of vaccinating patients with the COVID-19 vaccine.
We have been advised to free up time with our team to help look after patients with emergencies and protect patients with the vaccine.

Your online form will be reviewed by a clinician and you will be contacted back with a text within 48 hours.
